I watched Winx club growing up as a kid. So when I heard Netflix making a live action remake I was nervous. When I saw the trailer for the show I knew this wasn't the Winx club I grew up too. Nevertheless I decided to watch the show. I decided I would erase the winx club I grew up to and just watch a show about magic. It was a huge disappointment. The story line if you can even call it that was terrible. So from my understanding it’s supposed to be about Bloom's past and how she can’t control her powers. There are also these creatures called the “Burned ones” and they cause chaos for our protagonist but they don’t really add to the storyline. The CGI was also terrible. The other characters were also very bland and boring. We have a big girl named Terra who has self esteem issues and that's her whole storyline. Next is Musa who is an empath and wears headphones to block out other people feeling it that makes sense. Next is Stella the cliche mean girl who dislikes our protagonist and then later becomes an okay person. Finally there is Aisha, the backbone of the whole show. Aisha serials cared this whole show forward. She was the only one with a true personality and logical reasoning. Honestly they should have just made the show about Aisha she was way more interesting then bloom or any other dumb storyline they had. There were a couple of other characters that contributed very little to this show. Also the clothes of this show were quite horrible. They would have the weirdest thing on and you’ll see it if you watch the show you’ll know what I’m talking about. One thing that bugged me the most were Bloom and Stella clothes. They kept putting bloom in red jackets to symbols that she is a fire fairy. They project Stella to be this beauty queen but then they put her in horrendous jackets and scarfs. All in all this show was just about teenagers dealing with dumb drama that they dragged for 6 episodes. Would not recommend watching this. You will be disappointed.

The movie had a lot of long and unnecessary scene. The concept was bland and boring. There was also a lot of overbearing music movie that never fit into any of the scenes. I would not recommended this movie.
