What a stab in the back..... 🙃 Second player is a glorified villager to say the least. DO NOT BUY if you want to do a once console, multiple player set up. I’m the “secondary player” on my console. I can’t do nearly as much as my husband can. I was hoping to be able to have separate islands like the older version of the game offered. I can’t go any further in the game unless he makes progress and even then I cannot get things like an axe until he does something first. And I’ll have to buy mine instead of earning like he will. Certain things will only be available to the man player and they will get to call every shot. NOT what I was looking forward to. I don’t want to have to buy another switch and game to get the full effect. You will miss out on so many changes to the island if you don’t play at the same time or are present when they play. #secondaryplayersmattertoo I don’t even want to play this game anymore. I guess my husband can just play bc I don’t feel like I can move forward in the game anymore. Id like to play and grow the island as well but it looks like there’s nothing more for me.
