The movie had an interesting plot for the first half that made it interesting and fun to watch. The second half is what really ruined it for me. The characters became incredibly emotionally, and psychologically abusive to the point that it was uncomfortable to watch.

It's basically knock off Harry Potter in an all girls academy. There are too many similarities for me to enjoy this show as much as I wanted to. I really felt like this show was not all that original because of all the possibly stolen material. In the first episode we meet the Head Mistress (who has a liking for Lemon Drops, Dumbledore much?), an angry potions teacher who doesn't like the main character because she comes from a non witching family but loves the snotty girl from a prestigious witching family. Besides character similarities there are also scenes that are eerily similar to come iconic HP movie scenes. There are a lot of cute and humerus aspects I noticed in the three episodes I watched. For one, they have an episode about familiars, which I thought was cute, but again, not enough to keep me interested or make me ignore the countless similarities.
