Could not get past the first episode. Tired of this portrayal of vapid, clueless Americans. Having lived in Barcelona for 3 years I witnessed plenty of tourists from all countries who were abrasive, naive, rude, well-meaning, etc., but those who came to study or work were industrious and anxious to immerse themselves in their new language and culture. And that holds true for Paris, Oslo, Rome, Barcelona, etc. The only part I enjoyed was the scene where they're hauling her luggage up the stairs and the explanation of why the first floor doesn't actually start on the first floor :) Brought back happy memories of my tiny little walk-up rooftop flat with no heat or a/c but 360° views :)
