I bought season one and am watching it now. I like it but it doesn’t seem as much Trek as other iterations. They are trying to be politically correct having a gay male couple when they really didn’t need to do that. I don’t understand where the spore drive thing came from when I don’t think it was ever mentioned in past Trek series and I think it would have been perfected by the time TNG came around. I do like it though because it really explores the Klingon, Federation war and how it all started.
