Fantastic second film in the terrifier series. A big step up from the first and much better characters, Art is always just brilliant, more humour from him in this one. Excellent.

I loved this first terrifier, very simple and you can tell it’s early days for his film making, but Art the clown is fascinating and makes Pennywise look like a wooly woofter. Brilliant film.

Absolutely brilliant film, refreshingly gory, violent and savage. The director is brave and doing what he wants to, funding it himself and basically not being a sell out, well done.

I think King was so angry with the Kubrick version that he wanted to show Kubrick and the world how it should be done. The trouble is King is a genius writer, not film maker, and Kubrick is a genius film maker, and in this case Kubrick stripped away what he felt he needed to to make The Shining the masterpiece it is. The Kubrick version is incredible, and filled with hidden meanings throughout the film. But if it wasn’t for Kings inception the story wouldn’t have existed. This time Kubrick got it right and King didn’t like that. The direction, characters, close ups when on characters, general landscapes, choice of camera filming techniques, music and sound effects are absolute perfection in Kubricks shining, and absolutely dreadful in Kings mini series adaptation, but Kings version is deffo funnier.

It's just a shock film, that how it got made, that's the only reason the film company allowed it, that's the only reason people watch it. Its a terrible film, bad acting, bad plot, bad dialogue, it's just a shock film.

Another Kubrick classic, he is in a world of his own in terms of making films. All different genres, all amazing, this film is a work of art.

Kubrick's films always have a deeper meaning, as does 2001, it is kind of boring to watch, but he wanted it to feel as if you were in space, with them. It was so ahead of its time the effects still look incredible, I found this film boring, but I'm drawn back to it again and again as I know there are deeper meanings in it, his films fascinate me.

Probably my favourite film of all time, a brilliant story and has a subtlety I love, and the soundtrack is brilliant.

Unfortunately this guy clearly wanted to make a 'Wicker Man' type film, and failed terribly.
