Beautifully illustrated, wonderful story. Bought it for a 4 and 3 year old and both enjoyed the story a lot. Lots to learn, especially different cities and towns in India, their landscapes, brief information. Some of the places mentioned are Thar desert, Jaisalmer, Himalayas, Sundarbans, cherrapunji, Thanjavur, Ooty, benaras, silent valley etc. Wonderful discovery at a book store. I've enjoyed reading it myself and reading it to the kids. Not a day goes by since it was first introduced to the kids that they don't mention it. Will definitely be looking for more books by Katha books.
