Nunn Ya

As a fan of period films and sci-fi I was looking forward to watching this series. But it was slow and predictable. The actors portrayed their characters well but the plot was lacking at times. The storyline provided could’ve been fully told in a few episodes... or even as a single movie. The monster was disappointing but the rest of the costumes and set were intricate and beautifully made. I felt the storyline attempted to tell a story that relates to the cultural climate of the world now. But I don’t think I’d sit to watch a second season.
