In my view, this book is one of the most comprehensive yet compact single book, giving a clear, analytical plus practical view of the vast subject called Power Electronics or may be Switched Mode Power Conversion and its scope. A great work by a versatile doyen. Down the ages, this might be counted as one of classics written on this subject. Requires patience and love towards the subject on part of the reader to get full benefit of reading this book while such a book demonstrates the same qualities of the author.
