I knew all about the Boston Strangler from watching documentaries about it. I hadn't read up about the film so wasn't aware and it took me a while to realise that it was in fact Keira Knightly. She was fantastic in this role, and her American accent was actually very good.
I think other reviewers, whilst entitled to their opinions, have totally misunderstood the gravitas of what happened in Boston. The two female reporters, both the real people and the actresses portraying them really hit home with me, as strong women are often ridiculed it was quite fascinating to see all the research and interactions these two undertook and past theories onto the police investigation.
Remembering those women who lost their lives and the fact nobody was ever properly charged with all of the murders.
