This movie went out of its way to butcher the classic tale. It is layered with current PC messages rather than just telling a good story. Hey Hollywood!—we don’t need a current political message with every form of entertainment, k thanks! Accents appropriate to middle age England, nope not one. Clothing, well, all other reviews also point to the laughable unbelievable attire. Jamie Foxx as an Arabic man? Nope. Common folk of middle age England ethnically diverse??—um we’ve come a long way as a people and we were definitely not there in the Middle Ages, in fact not even in the Renaissance. Bottom line, don’t appropriate a classic tale and butcher it. It’s not okay. It’s not accurate and it’s offensive.
