I really like this show. I have not read the book or played the game. I think that made the show very enjoyable because I wasn’t disappointed by expectations, or deviations from the plot line. But in the first episodes I had a lot of confusion. Because the Geral Plot line is said in the past, while the Ciri plot line is set in the future. It is not until the final episode that the two plot lines merge in the future.
There is no indication where in time you are at what scene. So half of the Jeff Richard or more it’s There is no indication where in time you are at what scene. So half of the Jeff Richard or more is like a flashback. With the exception that they do not share the lead character.
Even when I figured this out it still distracted a little from the show, Because the beginning of each scene I was spent trying to figure out if I was in the past to the future.
If you put all that aside that is a very fun series, that has the potential of replacing Game of Thrones.
But do not expect the book or game to be followed as closely as that of Game of Thrones.
I found that friends who read the book or played the game are at times disappointed by the plot or the portrayal of the characters.
None of this mattered to me because I didn’t have any expectations.
