So disappointing. I only picked up Ray Donovan last year (2021). I'm so glad I didn't spend seven years leading up to this terrible ending. The movie feels like a rushed conclusion to season 7. I feel like if they'd taken a bit more time with quality writing, they could've brought us a full season 8 and tied the story up in a better way. Things just didn't make sense anymore. Mickey didn't deserve such an underwhelming end; after all, he's escaped death in the most miraculous ways the entire series. Such a pity. For the most part, Ray Donovan was a great series, with amazing acting. This movie didn't do the show justice

I honestly enjoyed this movie so much! So disappointed to see such bad reviews... Yes, the pace was rather slow but I feel like that allowed for an intense build up to what would be a beautiful and deep love story like we've never seen before. Kirsten and Nicholas performed brilliantly!! No one could've captured that level of intensity any better than they did. Definitely give this one a watch
