I favor k-dramas on Netflix over most other content and this one has really grown on me as I was toggling between it and Vincenzo. It took a few episodes for 'Beyond Evil' to find its groove, but once it did, boy what a fantastic show. I finished the penultimate show last night and hate to see it come to an end, just like a good book. I think the 'hostility' between the two protagonists was a bit forced in the early episodes, so much so, I nearly baled on the show. However, I am more than glad I stuck with it. The final episode was a gut-puncher on so many levels. Overall, a beautifully executed show. One of the best. Certainly, a fave, along with Vincenzo, Sisyphus, Rugal, Mr. Sunshine, Hospital Playlist, Stranger #1, Prison Playbook, Chicago Typewriter, Itaewon Class, Vagabond, and Navillera, to name several.
