I wanted this movie to be amazing. It was not. The story is unoriginal and bland. Character development is forced and inauthentic. Im sure John David Washington is a great guy in real life but as an actor he's a perfect example of the apple falling fairly far from the tree.

If you like Atlanta, this show looks and feels like another season of that show minus Earn, Darius, Van, and Paper Boy. Very interesting and definitely worth a watch.

This movie contained an amazing original concept. "Very specific time constraints". Denzel and his supporting cast deliver spot-on performances and the plot line moves you effortlessly from start to finish with no lag. The ending was simple but amazing. I went and saw this movie 3 times in theatres. I definately give it a 10 out of 10.
