Definitely the best Disney remake so far. It’s not fantastic in a broad perspective, but compared to the other new Disney remakes, it’s basically the “No Country For Old men” It doesn’t completely bring back the magic of the original, but it’s very fun, and comes close. The casting was 8/10, and they followed pretty closely to the original. Will Smith was definitely a good choice, and was closer to Robin William’s performance than most actors would be capable of. Overral: 3/5 definitely recommend the movie.

This movie is just... eh. The acting is really good, and the idea was interesting, but it wasn’t executed well. The opening scene is a really cool hook, but that’s about where the scares end. The pacing is way too fast, and some scenes just make no sense. They try to make us believe the main characters are smart, but they make really stupid decisions often. The actual virus/apocalypse thing was pretty well executed. However, they left way too much ambiguity. Without actually having a good sense of the issue, that kinda negates the suspense and satisfaction. The apocalypse is more of a sub-text that’s just kinda there. All in all: 3/5. Not bad, but not amazing. I definitely recommend watching it though.

Definitely an incredibly fun zombie movie, however, a lot of stuff won't make sense to people who haven't played the games. But besides the occasional bad acting, strange delivery, and questionable effects, the movie is 100% worth a watch. And to add, I'm still blown away by the casting of the main character, definitely the epitome of Frank West and Nick Ramos

The story and logic in the movie made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Most of the digital effects and cinematography were atrocious. The only good parts about the movie are the practical effects. I will never understand how they got such big actors on this movie.
