Thought this game was amazing based on ign's review but it's actually very poor in some aspects.
The game can actually be fun to play but you need forgive way too many things to enjoy it fully.
Physics are bad, Lara floats on long jumps, some of them there's no way she'd make it. She feels weightless on those jumps and also when climbing.
Story is ok at best but how many times is Lara gonna go through hell to find some lost tomb just to have the bad guys find it at same time as her because they followed her but only to get there way easier with helicopters and stuff. Why doesn't she just take one herself? Maybe to keep a low profile for but she's clearly bad at that. Also, how does she always manage to leave these places without a challenge when it was nearly impossible to get in? There's not much thought that goes into this I guess, or I'm just being too picky, just doesn't make much sense.
Still with regards to the story, we get thrown in this massive quest with little back story, just that her father really wanted this so she needs to finish it.....😑
The game is not horrible, but it's not the game some outlets make it to be. She learns Greek by looking at painted murals with no words written on them? 🤔Game mechanics excuse I guess.
Overall, pretty graphics, not the best voice acting from supporting cast, bad physics and a whole bunch of nonsense. I know it's just a videogame but still based on some sort of reality,. Had fun with it but wouldn't recommend the purchase, was a good deal with PS Plus for sure
