Marvel has been making episodic TV too much lately and it shows. This felt like a 2 hour episode of a forgettable season 5 and the show stopped being interesting 2 seasons ago. I really like Anthony Mackie as the new cap but this movie was a lot of 2 bros giving each other emotional pep talks and not nearly enough wingsuit action. Red Hulk was miserably wasted and he joins regular Hulk as the most neutered characters in the universe. No one cared about The Leader and the post credit scene was more of a nail in the coffin than a teaser for future films. I don't know if they're going to be able to keep everyone's attention long enough to get through Secret Wars....

Another review said the first 15 minutes of music ruined it for him...... It doesn't get any better for the rest of the movie I promise you. I have no doubt Snyder benefited greatly from having Hans Zimmer around. Yikes!!!

Regular non comic guy who loves Marvel content here. I liked this show a lot. D'Onofrio could carry 100 of these minor series with his Kingpin character and I hope he gets to. I didn't feel a social agenda crammed down my throat and in fact loved the Native representation. Post credit scene after last episode sets up a neat timeline as well, so this series did well to keep me engaged with the Punisher/Daredevil/Kingpin universe I fell in love with.

Just fantastic. Binged the entire season yesterday in one shot. This is the most adult oriented SW so far. Actually kind of surprised Disney would tackle the anti-tyranny angle but it's really well done. This is a heavy political thriller set in the SW universe with (so far) 85% of the cast plain ol human. I don't think I could have done Mando or Boba in one shot, but this was mentally engaging enough to stay not only interested but enthralled!

It's ok. Not much story, way too many cliches (does every movie have to tell us the scene location in giant font across the screen?) Gosling is awkward in his exchanges with the female agent. Soundtrack tried way too hard. Netflix just proves again they don't really have any IP and even less writing. The new season of Alone is pretty good I guess.

Denzel Rami and Jared deliver perfect performances of imperfect people. This isn't seven or silence of the lambs it lacks all of the self importance and grandeur. This is a very real very thoughtful look into the best and worst of humanity simultaneously. Shout out to HBO for doing the home releases it felt like a cool new premiere to me even though I was on my couch.

Old Guard checks all the woke boxes but doesn't check the "good movie" one. Great premise but below average execution.

Once again the critics get it wrong. Exceptional movie with great acting and writing. If you've scrolled past this on Netflix as I did 30000 times don't wait as long as I did to watch it. 5/5
