It’s hard to give this sequel a good review, as desperately as I would want to. It’s choppy. CGI has to much of a role. The characters are not fully formed (I mean none of them) and it’s a constant battle scene. It’s like everyone is in a different rendition of the film. I wish I liked it more. Not as much as the original- but more than I did. More could have, and should have, been accomplished. Although B+ for effort. C for overall experience. Darn it.

Wonderful acting. True story so interesting and scary.

Too all over the place. And people never eat or drink. Just work and kill. And Noble is irreplaceable??? Please.

I’ve been told a million times by family and friends to watch this series. I always fight series. They take sooooo much time up. But. This is a great one. The Sets. Costumes. Acting. Stories. All brilliant. Watch it

I liked it. It really depicts well the grime filth, poverty and despair in Victorian England. The mood is always dark. Foreboding. Sets, costumes and make up excellent. The film of course follows Dickens tale as it was written. Creepy to be sure. Good watch on a cold winters day.

Eh. No french actors. Not even an attempt at using French language. That was for me the first mistake RS made. Then. No real character development. All about battles. The audience for this film are far more intelligent than RS gave credit for. He lost his way on this one. 6 highly educated people who went to see it together, and we all agreed. Missed opportunity to tell a far more interesting and realistic story. With French language and more cultural influences. However , a sure academy award nominee in costume and set design. Hands down. Excellent work.

Excellent eye opening journey of two women fighting to make fashion sustainable and wearable. A real game changer for a greedy self serving elitist industry. YET ANOTHER Wake up calls for us all.

Sweet. Beautiful sets. Wonderful story. Based on some facts I think. Enjoy!

It’s simply one of the best productions ever made for tV from a beloved novel. The characters. acting. Writing. Music. Sets. Story’s. Clothes etc just perfect. I watched it as a teenager when it first aired, and I’ve been watching it this week. It’s so good.

Appreciate all the wonderful characters and realism in terms of heat, sand and sweat. Change of clothes wouldn’t go amiss for some of the characters though wearing the same thing over and over again every single episode is a bit of a challenge and the fact that there’s no blood on any of the clothes is kind of irritating after all the killing
