This memoir should be read by everyone. The author relays her life experiences from the point of view of a child trapped in a dysfunctional family trying to attain a small amount of normalcy. It is wonderfully written and once begun you just can't put it down!

Nomadland was bitterly disappointing. The story was touching, yes, but the movie was S. L. O. W. It could have been so much better than it was! Boring.
