Terrific cinematic experience! This films provides a lot to unpack and leaves you thinking. The camera work is great, the audio is right there with it... both the effects and the soundtrack. The use of silence and stillness in contrast to the chaos and cacophony of war is reminiscent of Apocalypse Now ( one of my favorites ). The story is solid... and has layers. On the surface it is about a group of journalists covering the war... but there's more to it as you'll discover if you pay attention and use your brain. I suspect the poor reviews are from people who prefer to be spoon fed themes and who must be entertained by constant action. This film does require you to do some work as most of the thematic elements are not spelled out for you. I look forward to studying this film some more!
