SPOILERS ahead kids so don’t read unless you’ve watched the film. Okay so if you love tatbilb then you’ll love this one although I would like to simply state my honest opinion since that’s what we’re all here for. The film at first was a little slow at the beginning as we see a young women navigating herself through life and her relationship, it mainly focuses on the relationship between her and peter but also how this relationship dynamic changes as soon as peters ex is in Lara jeans mind, I would like to say the complex relationship dynamic was well expressed in the film. Since reading the book this is something which I did expect. Although when realising that a past crush had gotten into her life I felt like the moments between Lara Jean and John Amberose wasn’t well express enough, as there wasn’t many scenes to tell the audience if they were falling in love with each other or not, although i did like the concept when watching the trailer as I was excited and the trailer had given me really high expectations. Since this film is good but not as good as the first one, I think yall like it. However when watching the trailer I was expecting a bit more drama and complexity in the love triangle between the three, which I didn’t see. So I would give this film a 6.4/10, rewatchable, entertaining and cute but not as good as the first one. And didn’t really exceed my expectations.
