This game was the perfect introduction to the PS3 for me as I had gotten the PS3 bundle from my dad. The graphics are absolutely amazing with breathtaking sceneries and awesome set piece moments that wouldn't have been possible to see on the PS2 I had played for years. The sheer scale and detail displayed in every area was mind-blowing to my 12 year old brain. The animations are so fluid and realistic, yet with such personality. Everything looked so fantastically life-like with a clean and crisp HD resolution and those shockingly beautiful lighting effects that populate the many unique areas throughout this epic adventure. The parkour is as fun as ever, combat as exhilarating and plentiful as ever. This game never ceases it's delivery of challenge in the form of those tough battles or its many puzzles. Uncharted 3's music was... well music to my ears! It just absolutely sucked my breath away when it played proudly on the gorgeous title screen. I was forced into near-frantic excitement due to just how absolutely epic of a story was to be told to me in such an awe-inspiring soundtrack. As soon as you hear it, you will know it means business. Speaking of stories, Naughty Dog made an exciting adventure of one. The plot is always keeping you on your toes and making sure to always maintain your interest and ensure your fun. The characters of Nate and Sully provide such fantastic banter that always makes you chuckle. They have such a wonderful dynamic with touching father-and-son undertones sure to make you want more.
All in all, one of the absolute best games I have ever played. Every single aspect of Uncharted 3 is perfect to me. Gunplay, fighting, parkour, visuals, story, characters, and that badass soundtrack are all just perfect. If you somehow haven't played it and are here, reading this:
Please, buy this game. You will not regret it. In fact, buy the Nathan Drake Collection. It's cheap and contains this game, but remastered to look even better on your PS4.
