It is obvious that we owe Voltaire because of the freedom of speech that he presented us by writing such a symbolic satire which criticizes the catholic church, the noble class which sees itself superior to others, and at last the philosophers who aren't devoted to the truth and only approve the existing world order.

Well, The Platform has got many ideas within itself: Class conflict, Communism, Messiah, distribution of resources, Rawls' theory of justice, role of power and leadership in social changes, etc.
It was very impressive and instructive. we should watch it at least twice!

In my opinion, it was a fantastic movie because of symbolic display of class war between different social classes. we shouldn't watch this movie by a simplistic view, since it's full of symbols and impressive notions.
We can take adopt another view: housekeeper and his husband are symbol of NKorea, Kim family is symbol of SKorea and finally Park family is symbol of modern western society. I've got a lot to say, but I confine it to this amount.
