I wouldn't call me a fan of the franchise, but I do like the 2 of the 3 2010's Ceasers trilogy. The story is good, great side characters. (Spoilers so skip) The 2 problems I have with the movies is that They make Noa look so sorry and weak, unlike Ceaser. The second problem is that I dont even know who really is the main villain. The suppose main villain doesnt even show up untill the half hour point of the movie. But anyways good movie, would 100% recommand, and happy they have confirmed that this is a new starting point of the new planet of the apes trilogy and they are making 2 movies after.
