We loved it. My husband and I, our friends, the lady next to me, the whole theater LOVED IT. It was beautiful (especially the cats), the singing brought chills, the dancing (I am a dancer) was lovely. I am mystified at the reviews. Some sort of weird, mean-spirited, souless brainwashing of every critic.
