Its quite fun. The combat and destruction is just awesome.
If you liked the battletech game from hbs, this is pretty well it from a first person real time perspective.
All the same management is there. Pilots get better depending on what they use, not a skill tree that you put points in, which is interesting.
Its destruction hits home with mechassault, management like battletech, and the gameplay is very mech4/mech3.
And, soon to have full mod support....from what i hear very mod friendly.
If you like mechs, get it.
