I cried through about half of it, but only because they kept the original songs in it, which reminded me of the original movie starring Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr. Even the plot differs somewhat from the original, with characters added, and others changed around from the original story. The original movie was a beautiful, well made movie adapted from one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most well-loved musicals. This movie was merely a shadow, a semblance of the real deal. Don't waste your time, get the original movie
