I was drawn in by the Alice in Wonderland aesthetic, but it quickly devolves into scenes of the grotesque. The game is probably 30% too long, and by the end I felt so bogged down that it really didn’t leave many positive memories.

This game is painfully not fun mechanically, albeit gorgeous aesthetically.

This game incited my curiosity more than any game I’ve played in recent memory. The exploration is entirely self-driven and rewarding, and you’ll want to keep learning more about the lore and universe of Outer Wilds. If you don’t commit to finishing the game, at least watch a YouTube video of the ending, because it was one of the most poignant games I’ve ever played. A+ writing.
