The worst part is that with some editing this could have been a good movie. Just cut out the dead space, the needless dialogue, the blatant lost-cause peddling, and the horribly bad battle scenes that really have no connection to the fights they portray, and you have a good film. Well, short film. Okay, maybe more like a trailer for what could've been a good movie.

I think this movie was extremely formulaic, but it does so in a way that captures WHY the formula was developed, not like a lot of recent westerns which use the formula but do so poorly.
