This was, hands down, the worst movie that I have watched in my life. I'm leaving this review only because, as an Army 11B combat veteran, I wanted to believe in the story and see the bro get rescued. At the end of it all I feel that the movie might have been salvageable had the Director not forced the super awkward "3-star walk in, y'all good? Follow me to the next obviously already shown drone footage" or the ear screeching and painfully-long bad acting monologs and the low budget/unrealistic/pathetic fight scenes. The film editor did his 2020 editing work on windows XP with a $19.99 soundtrack license from a 4 octave Kmart keyboard. I felt that the team of soldiers actually had potential throughout the movie but because of the horrible editing, the uber slow directing and the unnecessarily long cut scenes dragging the boredom even further it just made them all look dumb. I mean, how long are you going to make us watch motorcycles and the UTV drive over mountain ranges and expect it to make the audience go, "OMG BADASS!" BTW, they had NODs on going into the bunker for the "omg, were in a bad position but pop pop the two dudes are eliminated now" situation and then BAM, the NVGs were never seen again and their rino mounts didn't even have a scratch on them for the rest of the movie. Not trying to be nit-picky but the whole movie was hard to watch and boring to say the least. One fun fact, the "special forces" team had FAST helmets (modern combat) but all wore desert BDUs from the 90s??? (Maybe they geared up uniforms from the Navy...lol) In conclusion, the Asian POW actor and videography actually kept the entire movie afloat to the point where I only hated myself 95% for sticking it out and finishing the movie. Rogue Warfare 2: The Hunt was a slow, boring, unrealistic and disappointing military movie to say the least.
