The movie was ok. I grew up with the comic and original video games so my expectations were probably higher. I didn't like the change for Sonic's origin story from being raised by Uncle Chuck to an owl. No mention of the planet Mobius, Sonic's home world. I suspect that's next in the storyline though. If you're not familiar with Sonic the Hedgehog from the video games, comics, or 90's cartoons voiced by Jaleel White, (Steve Urkel) who should've had a cameo, then you'll enjoy this as another run of the mill kids film. It wasn't great but it could've been worse and I'll leave it at that.
