Denis Quade forgot how to act. That coupled with the utterly forced in religious references are so painful. They took what could have been a great story and messed it up as badly as one can. For the love of all that is good skip this garbage and save the time.

Acting is top notch, writing is... blah. End of the world, last woman in world does most selfish thing ever to... wait for it... see a waterfall. End of story.

It's a great game with endless hours of fun. Playing through my second time. It take A LOT to get 5 stars.

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because it starts out with HORRIBLE acting and writing, yet somehow finds it's way about mid way through the 2nd season ending in 3,4,5 that are just amazing. I literally binge watched the whole 5 seasons in about 3 days. Yeah it ended up getting that good. Villians you REALLY hate, and HEROS YOU REALLY LOVE. Wow, what a transformation. What I loved about it is that the writing never stopped being creative as far as plots go. It was always a different situation for the most part, they didn't end up killing off too many of the characters that you become to love as well. Oh they will kill off characters just not Game of Thrones style ot TWD. There were some groaner jokes, and some silly pop culture references like the soda machine meeting room being named C-3PO and the zombie hurricane when they say "at least it isn't sharks". Yeah same production company... ugh. But Doc is endearing with his stoner hippy jokes. Overall if you can make it through the first season you'll be happy.

Started out fairly good, a complete waste of time! It is like the writers found out in the last two episodes that they were canceling the show and so they crammed every cliche thing into it at once. Some character that they didn't spend any time building up ends up being the one with the power and the protagonist. They write in a gay kiss for absolutely no reason out of the middle of nowhere. The two characters were together for the majority of the first season but there was literally no banter between them, no flirtation, no anything? WTH?! Then the letter arrives when the treacherous son is already there? That and the ending battle was pathetic. What a let down for what could have been an amazing show.

Forget Rotten Tomatoes! If a film isn't something like Driving Miss Daisy or Forrest Gump it's a dud according to them. This film had great writing, acting, and an original - suspenseful plot with a twist at the end that we didn't see coming. The side story of the bond building between two non-biological brothers was well executed and felt real. If I had one gripe it's that they didn't spend more time developing that relationship and instead chose to bring in a stripper that felt forced and out of place to fill time and or plot holes. All in all 4 out of 5 stars from me. Then again I review movies for what they are trying to be, not for the independent French film they aren't. This movie totally has a bit of the sleeper sci-fi hit feel to it. Just different enough to not fully fit into one genre neatly. This seems to throw critics for a loop, in a small way like what Matrix did. In a year or two, maybe ten, they will look back at this film and realize that they got it terribly wrong. If you look a little closer, you can see this in the reviews of those critics that gave it a thumbs up already. I cannot wait for the sequel!
