A pastor and his family in crisis are mired in the legal system. I kept turning the pages not wanting to see what happens next to Pastor Preston and his family as he comes under attack for preaching the truth from the Bible. This book shows that you can be charged with a crime and then it is up to you to defend yourself (guilty - especially by the media - until proven innocent). Judge Sparkman does a good job explaining the legalities in plain English. You may not think it can happen in the United States, but we edge closer every day to the losing our religious freedom. You will learn more about the judicial branch of government than you can remember from high school. A well told story that kept a knot in my stomach until the end.
