The tale of Dharma and his Charlie or must I say, Charlie and her Dharma was not just a treat to watch, but I feel like saying we were blessed with the team with such a movie!
There are a few people who said that the second half of the movie was quite slow. But I'm here to argue that the pace had to slow down for us to feel those emotions. Every scene had a point to show.
As a dog-mom, I can guarantee you that everything that Charlie was shown doing in the movie is so real! Eating idlis from the table, chewing off the furniture when left alone, those puppy eyes and expressions, the timely barks, not wanting to leave from the park, wanting lots and lots of neck rubs/pets!!
I mean how could they make it so real?
Rakshith Shetty's acting knows no bound, I knew this since Simplaag Ond Love Story, however, this movie is impeccable. He lived the life of Dharma by being genuinely close to Charlie even out of the movie.
Kiranraj, what do I even say about this young lad! I can't imagine how he was the captain of such a ship and how he managed everything from writing the "acts" the dog needs to perform in the movie and getting a canine trainer to get Charlie perform these tasks! Plus bring the emotions out of the eye of the dog to make us all weep.
If you're a dog lover/dog parent, this movie is a MUST WATCH. If you aren't, then I'd say, you'll either find it baseless (because you won't understand such a bond and love exists) or you'll turn into someone that kind of loves dogs!
