If you like all action and no character development, this is the movie for you. If there had been at least some lessons shown with Mulan being taught some of the virtues they make such a great fuss about when she is grown, then the movie might have had a little depth. It also wouldn't have hurt to build a little more on the idea of a bond between the two strong female warrior types, Mulan and the "witch." There was lots of potential . . . The script just did not do justice to the talented cast selected for this movie.
