I don't want to be dramatic but this movie traumatized me with how bad it was. It's hard to describe how it's bad because nothing about it is good. It was slow, it was boring, it was unnecessary, it had no point, no character development, all they had was a lot of money to make this movie and they blew it. I wasted time and money on this movie, please don't make the mistake of watching it like I did. I promise you will regret it. These 5 star reviews are so weird. I watched a couple episodes of the first season. Usually I get super intrigued and wanna watch more of the anime but I didn't much with this anime. The characters are kinda boring and there isn't much depth to them. There really isn't any real character development in my opinion and there's no emotion. I was waiting for something big and engaging to happen when a lot of villains attacked the school but it was pretty boring. Everyone was fine in the end and there wasn't much actual progress with the characters, same old thing. The fact that the students were more powerful than some of the villains was boring. It's like the students didn't even need to try, they're already automatically amazing yet the teachers were the ones to get hurt the most. There isn't any development with Izuku trying to get better at his new quirk too. We don't see him practicing or training with it. It's like there's no point in the show, no development anymore when he gets accepted in the big school. I don't want to waste my time watching more of it. Bakugo is also such an annoying character. There's literally no real reason why he hates izuku. There's no past event. What's worst is that Izuku puts up with it and is so humble like he doesn't even stand up for himself. This is a great opportunity but there's no character development with them which I was expecting to see. The reason why Bakugo hates Izuku is because he's weak and Bakugo is insecure so he bullies Izuku because of it. This is because Bakugo won't accept himself if he's weak. Bakugo has been seen as being so strong that he thinks being weak is unacceptable. But he doesn't learn or do anything interesting. In my opinion, the show was incredibly boring and one of the worst anime I've ever tried to watch.
