To me, it depends on your reasons for watching. You need a VERY open mind. If you are religious, perhaps steer clear as it might be offensive. In saying this, it is based loosely on a historical truth; the life of the main character and religious beliefs and at the time. Truth be told, religion held too much power then and I don't see how anyone cannot see the irony here considering the corruption based on beliefs. Personally, the story between the two women lacked the romance I was searching for. But then again, that's was never the theme so I can't complain. Would I watch it again? Probably not. Give me a bit of romance then I'll totally be on board. Call me crazy for saying so but there is something irresistibly fascinating about that lifestyle. Dare I say, the imagination boggles to think what might even occur between a select group of nuns behind closed doors ;) Lastly, the erotic scenes with Jesus. Well, ironically she is "married" to God so who should say what that means for her, strange as it may seem. But the entire theme was about this woman being a bit off her rocker so not really shocking. The point is not to take it too seriously. There are plenty of other movies out there if that's your thing.

After Jurassic World I was very hesitant about the new film as it was just a lot of action with no real substance. However if you like a bit of nostalgia then this is a must see. I absolutely loved how they brought back the original characters!! Though not really a movie that should tug the heart strings I found myself getting a bit teary eyed, especially during the ending. I enjoyed how there were a few remakes of the original movie thought they missed the mark with a couple of them.. I would've been bawling had the helicopter scene not been cut short. That was a magical moment in the first film so a bit disappointing there All up, the cast was brilliant and there was enough diversity without seeming to be forced. Certainly nothing can compare to the first film but seeing as it was the last, it was by far the best out of all the other sequels.

The relationship between Masha, Delilah, and Yao was very confusing. I'm not sure if that was just me. I also found the married couple's problems to be annoying. Woah is me, I have money and I'm too good looking to be taken seriously. I think they were only put in the film for a bit of eye candy. The other characters were a bit better although a bit annoying at times. I gave it a 4 star because it was just entertaining enough to finish. Plus there is a bit of truth in what she's promoting which is some illicit drugs may be able to heal trauma although that agenda was a bit forceful. It's not a show I would care to re-watch but I'm sure if they do continue with a second series I'll be sucked in just the same.

Beautifully written and directed, this movie has me yearning for more. Both Winslet and Ronan performed their rolls exceptionally well, both believable and true to the characters they played. The ending wasn't in a style that I particularly enjoy and despite this I find it hard to fault the movie. The slow pace didn't participate bother me and in fact, I found it especially captivating because of this and especially powerful to use body language to express their emotions moreso than anything else. There are few movies I would come back to again and again but I believe I will enjoy this one for many years to come.
