I never thought this series was good and the artstyle is one of my least favorite. I don't know how people connect with this over something that's good like Frieren.

Just plain bad and unsatisfying. I get there some big messages but I wanted to watch a horror series, not some guy's take on religion and life where I don't get left to decide for myself, rather his opinion is forced on me, the viewer. Plus, the writing style is just bad, People make their point then rephrase it multiple times for 5+ minutes blocks of time and it's not a natural way of speaking. Netflix really doesn't know good writing or talent. I can only assume this Flaggan guy thought the Star Wars sequel trilogy was quality, because it wasn't and neither is Midnight Mass.
