I wasn’t familiar with the stories in the book from 1981 and I found this movie to be great. I saw it last night and I loved it. Very suspenseful in the way they incorporated complete silence before each scare. Later I downloaded the original book and read it. I loved the way they combined some of the stories from the book in the movie. I am never scared during any horror movie, but I was during this movie.
