I loved this movie. Touched my heart. I could identify with Bobby. Ted could have been my dad or so the child in me would have wished.

Intriguingly twisted. Held my interest. Good acting and excellent costumes. The ending made you think and you could contrive your own reasons “why” it ended as it did.

I loved the film. Costumes, photography, sensitivities, “horrors”....this movie had it all. The acting was superb and the story-line excellent as it portrayed the final three years of Oscar Wilde’s life. I left the theater “overwhelmed” with the sadness he experienced in his life and a sense of frustration in one man’s search for his authentic self. I am not sure he ever allowed himself to be “Oscar Wilde” and accept who he was as a gay man. I am surprised that the movie did not receive much playing time in the U.S. but then, our society is seeking escapism in all of the “super hero” movies which I detest.
