Being a Mahesh Bhatt admirer due to his earlier works, I gave it a shot. But to be very honest I will say the style of film making of this maverick filmmaker seems dated & tired. It feels like he is still stuck in the 90s. The stellar performance of the cast especially Sanjay Dutt & Jishu Sengupta(I'm being biased, cause he is from my state) even fails to salvage this poorly written good concept. Songs are amazing like any other Vishesh Films product, but better they should be listened independently because they can't forward the narrative to the next level. Lastly I wanna tell Bhatt Sahab make a way better film in a contemporary way, I'll be waiting.

Although the core idea is being very cliche, the film stands out for the performance of the cast. Vidyut in his first emotional yet cerebral character has done a pretty decent job, if we see his other films this is far more better than his previous ones. Shivaleeka in very short screen timing has done a commendable job. But special mention for Shiv Pandit & Aahana Kumra, kickass & last but not the least Annu Kapoor, marvelous. What I liked about this film is more than the action, it focuses on the drama & violence. Though those blood splatterings fall victim of bad CGI but that could be overlooked. Music by Mithoon is underrated but melodiously soothing. Overall you can give it a shot.

Basically this film is all about The Rebel Star Prabhas, in spite of having bunch of actors across all the languages. Obviously it's not up-to the Baahubali franchise, but you will still enjoy it if you keep the magnum opus out of your mind & consider Saaho as a different film with a different genre with different treatment. The action is terrific, something Indian audience have never seen before. Along with Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor has made an impact with her required performance, Chunky Pandey is just more than perfect as main villain, while the others has nothing to do more though they've done their job with excellence. Music is also good but that doesn't go with the narrative. In short it's a visual extravaganza, I enjoyed it.
