The casting and the acting is tripe; the storytelling is awful and the production value is on par with Xena and Hercules. Save yourself some time watch 'Journey to the West' by Stephen Chow instead. This is basically just Journey to the West meets Moana with some Mulan sprinkles on top. There is a serious lack of continuity as well, the monkey king is wearing the crown before he is imprisoned.
