It is a two hour story that was dragged out for 8 episodes. The plot is a joke, with holes so big you can drive a double wide mobile home through them. There are scenes where Kate Beckinsale’s characters has no gun, is surrounded by a half dozen people with automatic rifles and she miraculously gets away. In one highly laughable scene she is in a small room standing 3 feet from a guy who gets shot point blank and she somehow runs out of the room and gets away. Never mind that the shooter wanted her dead and could have easily shot her. She just runs out of the room, gets in a car and drives away. Story could have been told in 2-3 episodes max.

This could have been a very interesting movie had they taken out the American detective character. Obnoxious and overbearing, his non-stop and unnecessary badgering and bullying of the cops doing the actual investigating is off putting. It’s kind of like a very interesting story was ruined by his character. Wasted film.

Bad movie. No plot. Jacques the main character comes off creepy. Diane Lane, whom I love, is good but in an empty vapid movie that lacks any coherency. The scenery is good but it’s like a travelogue.

I watched 1 1/2 seasons and really tried to like this show. Elizabeth Moss’ acting was fantastic. Unfortunately the storyline, in the end, was just too “out there” for me. Just too weird and unbelievable. It is a very dark, depressing and SLOW MOVING show. It reminded me of The Man In The High Tower: great premise but so weighted down in its own deep meaning it just crashes to ground and becomes boring to watch.

This series was a farce. Poor writing with characters you never feel invested in. After 5 episodes I told my wife, “None of the characters are likable people, and most of them are monotone mean and cruel.” The wokeness is on full disgusting display.
