Ok so let's break this down... Story - little slow but a beautiful conclusion Animation - average at best, mediocre at worst Characters - surprisingly relatable and loveable Music - fantastic, absolutely loved it Voice actors - did a great job with this title Length - very short but I would say perfect for this game Final summary 10/10 It may sound like I was a bit harsh with the animation BUT in this games case it's actually a strength because it gives it what so much media is missing these days. CHARACTER! I absolutely adore the tone and the story this game is telling while also being very grounded, relatable and heartfelt throughout. The creative vision is clear to see and the music is the cherry on top. This is the first ever media of any kind to put a tear in my eye and I will never forget it. I cannot recommend this enough, everybody that feels even slightly drawn towards it please give it a shot.

Just facts here now. If you are a fan of the games then you will most likely enjoy the film. It is completely over the top and just as crazy as the game in all the fighting scenes and while the plot may leave a little to be desired, not sure about the supernatural weapon woman, I believe that the fights make up for this. I give a 5 star on my review because the film gave me the same feeling of euphoria that I felt the first time I played dynasty warriors 3 on the ps2 back in the day and for that alone it's worth the price of admittance. Ignore all bad reviews! If you are a fan of this franchise then watch the film and just enjoy yourself. 5/5 and highly recommend to all who enjoy the games.
