Scott made alien the right way, and he always had. Not the pansy little bugs from Aliens that predator could manhandle and slap around. Big chap is the way to go, and this movie did a great job at giving my perfect organism a beautiful backstory. Fassbender played the synthetics wonderfully, and the subtle differences between the models were superb. I've heard a lot of complaints about lack of information, regarding the planet and the preparation of the crew, and as well as the organisms (trying not to spoil too much) but it seems to show a lack of imagination in the naysayers lines of thinking. This movie was packed with content, and capturing David's lonley madness was far more important in explaining big chaps creation than planet diagnostics, and detailed descriptions of the events that transpired. This was a fantastic addition to the series and I cannot wait for Scott to expand on the creation and fill in the gaps that lead up to 'Alien'. I can only hope he keeps it up
