This was an excellent movie. I wanted to leave a review after reading several other reviews that had misinformation. A lot of people are upset that the role of Josie "Joe" was played by a male actor and not a female. While it's true the role was played by a male, Sasha Knight, he himself is trans. If you're going to get upset that you're not properly represented in a movie, you should at least know what you're talking about! Do a little research on what you're watching. Excellent movie all around. The acting was superb, beautiful scenery, well written and directed.

I was really excited for this movie. We made about 10 minutes in and had to turn it off due to the high pitched whistle noise playing when it's in the deaf character's perspective. Hurt my ears. Unfortunate.
