Thought it was great for what it was..It was a brave exploration by two actors who will be around long after the criticism fades. The New Hollywood Elite. It was a film of relationship choices, it didn’t sell out, if it were made by Woody Allen, it would be a Filmmaking masterpiece..if you took Streisand or Redford or Paltrow and Downey Jr. The Critics would handily give them Oscars...it was refreshingly out of step...He brought out all the Washington “A” Game...at times was his father, un-controllably. Which was interesting 🤨. Pandemic film, felt more like Theatre scene work or what happens when people thrust themselves out over an edge in Love.
