All in all, an incredibly disappointing installment to this classic franchise. The plot was all over the place and DID NOT follow the story from the 2018 reboot.
The flashbacks from the original 1970’s timeline were neat, and seeing Dr. Loomis back on screen was fun. However, the movie had not real direction and just fell flat. The obsession with mob mentality and the forced character inclusion of Tommy Doyle (he ruins the whole movie for me) was far too much. Adding the original characters back in was a great idea, but having them run the whole film while Laurie Strode sits in the hospital the entire time was a bitter fail.
In the end, if just felt like a cheap slasher film with no real direction or addition to the original story of Michael Myers, wait to see it on stream, don’t bother paying to see this.
