Easily one of my favorite horror classics. There is an album by the band "Ice Nine Kills" Each song is based on different horror films and the Chorus of SAVAGES says the following... "We are the savages, eating you alive, the original villains in the night, no where to run no where to hide". So there you have it. Long live the ORIGINAL slasher Icon Leatherface aka "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre!"

I think this film was pretty underrated and if you ask me it's one of Roland Emmerich's better movies right next to "the day after tomorrow", "independence day" and "stargate" which were as I recall very successful films that made over 100,000 dollars in the US alone..I respect the master of disaster Roland Emmerich for filling my childhood with cool special effects and legitimate humour
